When you apply for a job vacancy at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), your personal information is used for the purpose of recruiting and selecting employees.

Applicants

By submitting the online application form you agree that RSM will process your data to assess your application for the selected job vacancy and inform you about the outcome. RSM processes your first & last name, address, place of residence, country, telephone number(s), e-mail address, Curriculum Vitae, application letter and, if applicable, references received directly from referees. The data is stored in the application system and is accessible only to RSM staff members involved in the selection process.

The information you provide to RSM will be retained by RSM for a period of 4 weeks after the closure of the application process or 1 year if you give permission to hold your application in the database for other job vacancies at RSM.

If you create a profile in the application system (it’s optional), RSM will retain your name and e-mail address until the moment of cancellation. You can access, edit or delete your data in the profile yourself at any time.

Referees

When job applicants submit your contact information in the application system for the purpose of requesting references, you will receive an e-mail invitation. By submitting a reference letter you agree that RSM will use your first & last name and e-mail address for assessment of the candidate’s application. The data is stored in the application system and is accessible only to RSM staff members involved in the selection process. 

The information you provide to RSM will be retained by RSM for a period of 4 weeks after the closure of the application process or 1 year if the applicant gives permission to hold the documentation in the database for other job vacancies at RSM.
