Madleen Meier-Barthold is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at the Department of Organisation and Personnel Management, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on the strategic role of HRM in organizations, investigating how HR policies, practices, and leadership shape employee perceptions, decision-making, and organizational outcomes. She explores the alignment of HRM with organizational strategy at various levels, from individual sensemaking to the influence of HR leaders on business decisions, within dynamic work environments. Her work employs a wide range of advanced quantitative methods from various disciplines.
