Profile
Liana van der Hagen is a PhD candidate at the Department of Technology and Operations Management at the Rotterdam School of Management. She holds a BSc and MSc in Econometrics and Operations Research from the Erasmus School of Economics. With a focus on demand management in the online grocery sector, Liana's research aims to improve decision making in last-mile delivery. In close collaboration with industry partners, her PhD project involves the application of machine learning techniques to support time slot management decisions.
Liana is a regular presenter at international conferences. She received the PhD Student Poster Award at the 2022 Netherlands Operations Management and Logistics Conference in recognition of her work.
