Professionals who are considering to start the part-time Executive Master in Customs and Supply Chain Compliance at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) might be eligible for one of Topsector Logistics’s new scholarships.

RSM’s Executive Master in Customs and Supply Chain Compliance programme aims to benefit professionals working in cross-border supply chains, government agencies, and people working in policy-making, legal advisory, and auditing roles at customs authorities of EU member states. Participants also include consultants, accountants, traders, exporters and terminal operators in services and logistics businesses. The first class of the master programme started their studies in March 2015, and will graduate in September 2017.

Competitiveness in logistics

The Topsector Logistics now offers an additional 35 funds with a value of €8,000 or €3,000 each to participants who will start in September 2017.

“I’m very pleased with these scholarships. It provides our sector the opportunity to build a strong and capable work force and it will facilitate the further competitiveness of the logistics sector,” says Ruud Vat, Neele-Vat Logistics BV and member of the Topteam of Logistics. “There’s no reason why customs and trade compliance professionals should not join this unique programme,” he added.

Participants can apply for the scholarship via the programme’s advisor Eugène Kerpen, and scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

RSM’s Executive Master in Customs and Supply Chain Compliance is a 26-month part-time programme taught in English. The unique programme deals with the latest knowledge and insights in customs duties, taxes, trade legislation and compliance. It was developed in co-operation with trade associations, the Customs Administration of the Netherlands, Erasmus School of Law, Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, and RSM.
