Dirk Schoenmaker replacesPFZWboard member Age Bakker, whose term has ended. Dirk Schoenmakerwill also be the chairman of the Investment Committee of PFZW.
PFZWChairman Joanne Kellermann thanked Age Bakker for his work on the board of PFZW that helped to make the organisation’s investment policy more sustainable. She continued: “Dirk Schoenmaker is someone who has won his spurs in the scientific world in the field of investment and sustainability. We are very happy with that, given the challenges we face as a pension fund on the eve of a new pension system and given the public debate about the sustainable investments of pension funds."
Dirk Schoenmaker's previous positionsbefore he joined RSM have included Director of European Affairs, Competition and Consumer Policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Deputy Director of Financial Markets at the Ministry of Finance.

PFZW is responsible for the pension policy and pension capital of nearly three million employees and former employees in the healthcare and welfare sector. The pension fund manages the invested assets, which amounted to € 277.5 billion at the end of December 2021.
