“It was great to get the opportunity to chat with welcoming people from different types of companies and to gain information about student opportunities in such a short amount of time,” said Pearlsy Sjauw, an MSc Supply Chain Management student at RSM. Master student Svenja Callies (MSc Management of Innovation) said: “This event made me realise how many opportunities I have after graduation that I had not even thought of until now. Very insightful!”
Connecting talent to business
At the International Career Event, prominent multinationals facilitated workshops, a fair and speed interviews. The recruitment event attracted international and Dutch students who strive for an international career. For the companies, it was an opportunity for employer branding to recruit highly skilled international business students who can bring new knowledge, skills and perspectives into the company.
More than 100 students had signed up for the short interviews with nine companies. “The speed interview was a really nice opportunity to get to know the companies. The recruiters were very friendly and open for questions,” said Leona Unrath from RSM’s MSc International Management / CEMS.
Master student Onno van der Horst (MSc Business Information Management) agreed: “The speed interviews were short, but very useful for a first introduction to a company.”
Participating companies at the International Career Event were: Alphasights, Bayer Business Consulting, b-k-p Consulting, Cefetra, Celonis, DHL Supply Chain, Diageo, Eurofins, Gartner, INVERTO, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, JLG, Kerry Group, KraftHeinz, Mainfreight, Nike, Palo Alto Networks, Philips, Restaurant Brands International and Uniqlo.
