This paper examines existing methodologies for measuring Corporate Sustainability (CS) and highlights their shortcomings, emphasizing the lack of a cohesive and universally applicable measure of CS across firms, industries, and regions. The analysis reveals a disconnect between mathematical measurement techniques and the holistic concept of sustainability, leading to narrow and non-comparable results. The paper also points out confusion between developing CS indicators, measuring them, and integrating them into corporate practices.
