Yes. For ERIM/RSM projects, it is ideal to have GMAT or GRE scores that place you in or above the 85th percentile of test takers.

While it is possible to apply without GMAT or GRE scores, we will seek additional evidence of excellence, such as very good grades (top 15%) in your previous degrees (GPA), degrees from renowned universities, an strong master’s thesis, research experience, publications, or other outputs that demonstrate scientific engagement.

For ERIM/RSM projects, it is ideal to have GMAT or GRE scores that place you in or above the 85th percentile of test takers, along with a strong command of English. For the internet-based TOEFL, a minimum total score of 100 is required, with all section scores (writing, speaking, reading, and listening) being at least 23. For IELTS, an overall band score of 7.5 is required, with all section scores (writing, speaking, reading, and listening) being at least 6.5.

Official results typically take around three weeks to process. However, unofficial test results are available immediately after the test. You can submit your unofficial scores in your online application before the official results arrive.

You may also apply for a waiver from TOEFL/IELTS if the medium of instruction for your entire university education (bachelor's and master's programmes) was English. In this case, please include an additional letter along with your application and ensure that you attach any relevant documents. The final decision on the waiver request will be made by ERIM.

In general, ERIM requires applicants whose native language is not English to submit TOEFL or IELTS test scores. However, if the language of instruction for your entire university education (bachelor's and master's programmes) was English, you may submit a request for a TOEFL/IELTS waiver. The final decision on the waiver request will be made by ERIM.
