The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business is a US-based accreditation agency that evaluates a business school’s mission, faculty qualifications and contributions, programmes, and other critical areas on a five-year review cycle. RSM was among the first European business schools to receive AACSB accreditation in 1998.
London-based Association of MBAs accredits post-graduate business programmes at business schools worldwide. The Association is one of the three main global accreditation bodies in business education and accredits a school's portfolio of post-graduate business programmes rather than the entire business school. RSM's MBA programmes are AMBA-accredited since 1996.
The European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), part of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), provides accreditations based on general quality and a school's level of internationalisation. RSM is one of 138 EQUIS-accredited business schools worldwide and one of 19 pioneer schools launching EQUIS and its accreditation procedures.
The Dutch-Flemish Accreditation Organisation (Nederlands-Vlaamse Accreditatieorganisatie, NVAO), accredits and evaluates study programmes to ensure the quality of higher education in the Netherlands and Flanders. RSM has been NVAO accredited since 2007 and has since been awarded the “Distinctive (Quality) Feature for Internationalisation” and a distinction for “small-scale and intensive education”.
