Nominations – and awards – for distinguished alumni will be divided in three categories: business achievement, social impact and entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to being nominated by RSM faculty members and staff, alumni with an excellent contribution to business or society can also be put forward by fellow alumni and students from RSM.
Alumni from RSM’s BSc programmes, MSc programmes (and its predecessors, such as the doctorandus opleiding), MBA programmes or PhD programmes are eligible for an award.
Wider RSM community
From late summer, the wider RSM community can vote for finalists to win the awards via an online voting page. The results will be combined with votes from the jury, made up of RSM Advisory Board members and previous Distinguished Alumni Award recipients.
The winners will be announced at the RSM Leadership Summit in the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam on Friday 7 October 2016, which is also a part of the RSM MBA Alumni Reunion.
Previous Distinguished Alumni Award winners include Niels Eldering (technology transfer officer at European Space Agency), Alba Tiley (UN partnerships and sustainability manager at Royal DSM), Johan Andressen (CEO at Ferd Norway), Meiny Prins (CEO of Priva BV), and Diederik Laman Trip (former CEO of ING Netherlands).
The deadline for nominations for the RSM Distinguished Alumni Awards 2016 is Wednesday 1 June. For more information about the RSM Distinguished Alumni Awards, please contact Irene Broekmans, Alumni Relations Manager for RSM, via ibroekmans@rsm.nl.
