Lyuben Belov, managing partner at LAUNCHub, and Georgi Dinev, CEO at bERS Logistics, spoke to the 30 alumni about what made them successful, what hurdles they faced during their business journey, and also how they financed their businesses. It was a very interactive discussion where they answered a lot of questions from the audience.
Interactive format
The two top executives have extensive entrepreneurship experience, and created an interactive format in which the audience was able to explore the topic through discussions. It was organised by the leaders of the Local Chapter in Bulgaria: Mariya Kisyova (MSc Strategic Management 2011), campaign planning specialist at Avon Cosmetics; Ruslana Toncheva (International Full-time MBA 2005), business unit manager at AbbVie; and Mihael Mladenov (MSc Strategic Management and MSc Finance & Investments 2010), managing director at M6 Solutions.
Successful business
“We learned what’s important for running successful business and what options start-ups have for financing their projects. It was also a great opportunity to meet new people, not only from the RSM community but also from other top business schools in Europe,” said the Local Chapter leaders, who invited RSM alumni and a small number of Sofia-based alumni from several other top business schools.
The business event, which took place at restaurant +Tova in Sofia on 18 June, concluded with networking drinks. The Local Chapter in Bulgaria plans to organise its next event in the autumn.
