CASPT, the Conference on Advanced Systems in Public Transport will take place in Rotterdam from 19 to 23 July 2015 under the leadership of Leo Kroon, Professor of Quantitative Logistics at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). The conference is open for all people working the domain of public transport. Early registration is still possible until 31 March.
Co-organised with the Erasmus School of Economics, this conference is the 13th in the series that serves as a forum for the international community of researchers, practitioners and vendors on all aspects of public transport planning and operations. CASPT covers significant contributions to the theory and application of systems and methodologies for advancing and improving public transport planning and operations.
Leo Kroon: “CASPT does not only encourage the generation and presentation of new ideas, but also intends to instigate productive collaborations between participants from academia, industry, and government. With a fully integrated public transport system, Rotterdam promises to be a great place to host our discussions in July.”
Besides an excellent scientific programme including keynote presentations by Maurice Unck (Netherlands Railways), Martin Grötschel (TU Berlin), and Martin Trépanier (Polytechnique Montréal) and contributed talks covering the whole range of public transportation planning in 4 parallel streams, CASPT also provides lots of networking opportunities during the scientific part of the programme as well as during the social events, such as the conference dinner on the former cruise liner ms Rotterdam.
