Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM) is pleased to announce that associate professor Ioannis Fragkos of the department of Technology and Operations Management has been appointed as RSM associate dean of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) as of 1 July 2024. He succeeds the position formerly held by Dr Inga Hoever, who is now dean of research. As associate dean of IDEA, Dr Fragkos plays a central role in keeping the principles of IDEA top of mind across all of RSM.

In his new role, Dr Fragkos will continue to shape the IDEA-related strategy of the school. “In addition to working with the IDEA steering committee on school-wide initiatives, my priorities will centre around addressing social safety, a sense of belonging, inclusivity in governance and in our professional interactions, equity in career opportunities, and accessible workplaces and infrastructure throughout RSM,” explains Dr Fragkos.

Next to his roles as associate professor and the newly minted associate dean of IDEA, Dr Fragkos also serves as a confidential advisor for RSM faculty. This gives him unique insights into the school and the RSM community.

“The RSM executive board and I are confident that Ioannis will continue to ensure that the principles of IDEA remain embedded within and at the forefront of developments for our school in the years to come. We look forward to our continued collaboration in the coming period,” tells interim dean of RSM Werner Brower.
