The rankings of the World Economic Forum shows that the Netherlands does not do very poorly in terms of innovation. The Forum put our country on the 7th place. According to Henk Volberda this good score is primarily due to the successful top sector policy. That makes for a good cooperation between universities, government and industry. The Netherlands also has particularly good scientific research. But, says Volberda, there is still plenty to win. Especially when it comes to credit ecstasy and capital for SMEs and startups.
