In 2015 AYO, a smart wearable light therapy, raised nearly $ 200,000 during a successful IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign. The idea behind AYO was invented by two alumni of the Rotterdam School of Management. They were accompanied during the development of the product by Bert van der Horst (professor of chronobiology and Health at Erasmus MC). The first units are currently being sent to the Indiegogo backers and AYO is now officially available in the Netherlands.
