Through volunteering job seekers have a much greater chance of finding a job. This is an outcome of research by Lucas Meijs. Together with Nationaal Ouderenfonds he developed a concrete plan for volunteering organisations, to help recent unemployed to find a job. This article elaborates on this plan.
