Most employees are not familiar with the rights and obligations of Het Nieuwe Werken (New Ways of Working). For example, the employer is responsible when an employee stumbles and falls when he or she is working at home. Working from home boosts productivity, says Henk Volberda. People do not waste their time in traffic jams or at meetings, and can complete unfinished tasks.
