The Commission Van Laarhoven is currently engaged in a selection process to choose a Dutch scientific institute to be named the premier logistics institute in the Netherlands. The commission has thus far narrowed down its choices to three institutes in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Breda. Jo van Nunen, commission member, states of the candidates and selection process: "We have to be convinced that the chosen 'top institute' in the chosen location will make a significant contribution to the logistics ambitions of this country ten years down the line."
