The discussion whether the HR profession sufficiently contributes to organizations is difficult because there are no criteria established. For this reason, the NVP (Dutch Association for Personnel Management & Organisation) works on a certification system for HR professionals. Associate professor Job Hoogendoorn is involved in this project. He is vice president of the NVP.
