Secondary students throughout the Netherlands will soon be required to fulfill at least 72 hours of community volunteer service. Lucas Meijs is consulted on the issue and proposes that that work fulfillment may naturally be easier for students at orthodox Christian schools, whose schools and the religious organisations of which the students are often members, may offer more possibilities for community service.
