Convenience serves people. This factor largely determines the success of retail in the online domain. A problem that many people nowadays encounter when buying clothes and footwear online is that those clothes and shoes do not always appear to fit. Florian Frenken, who studied business information management at the RSM, has also had to deal with this disappointment. As part of his graduation thesis, he developed a model that indicates exactly which size should be purchased based on the age, weight and height of a customer. With his solution, he has won the annual sustainability award from the accountancy and consultancy organization KPMG.
