More than one in five companies expect to invest less next year because of the corona crisis. Especially small businesses (with five to fifty employees) prefer to keep their hands on the purse for a while. This has emerged from new research by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). This provided the figures for the "State of the SMEs", an annual report presented by the Netherlands Entrepreneurship Committee on Wednesday.

According to research of the RSM, investing can be very useful even for small companies that are already struggeling. Their research shows that with targeted investments you can still recover.
