Erasmus University Ombudsman Edith Weijnen recently presented her findings from the pilot year of ombudsman work in a report.

In the first year, employees submitted 122 cases to the ombudsperson, who "sometimes suffer from feelings of discrimination or insufficient empathy with cultural differences," she writes. A table in the report shows that more than half of the complaints are about culture at Erasmus University and that the majority come from the RSM, Erasmus School of Law and Professional Services (support services)
