Pieter Duisenberg, alumni of the Rotterdam School of Management, has been mentioned in an article. The article discusses the move by the Netherlands to rewards academics for more then just research prowess. Dutch universities and funding agencies want an end to what they say is a “one-sided emphasis on research performance” at the expense of teaching, social impact and management, plus open and collaborative scholarship. Pieter Duisenberg states that "elements of both research and strategy will absolutely be different from what they are today."
