The Netherlands has not maintained its leading position in the European Union when it comes the competitiveness index. This is one of the most important findings for the Netherlands in the Global Competitiveness Report 2018. This annual indicator of international competitiveness was carried out among 140 countries. The Erasmus Center for Business Innovation of RSM led by Henk Volberda is a partner institute of the World Economic Forum and collected the data for the Netherlands.
