Research conducted by Alliance Manchester Business School, Emlyon Business School and RSM found that entrepreneurs using skilled gestures at key points when pitching are 12% more likely to receive funding compared to those who don’t. In particular, the researchers found that entrepreneurs who combined gestures that symbolise their startup’s growth or how their product works helps them bring home their point better to investors.
