On June 12, ROOD, the youth association of the Dutch political party SP, initiated a protest against the influence of companies on the Erasmus University. Their slogan read "Welcome to the Shell University". Last week, a specially commissioned committee concluded that although there are integrity risks at RSM, there are no indications of the direct influence of the industry on the education or research of scientists.
