Research by RSM PhD Candidate Joshua Paundra shows that car enthusiasts need more arguments to be convinced to swap to a car-sharing scheme than lower costs and sustainability benefits. His research suggests that for these people car sharing should not be brought as a replacement, but as an alternative means of transport when their own car is not available.
