A discussion on the advice RSM Professor Lucas Meijs and Edwin Venema, editor-in-chief of opinion platform De Dikke Blauwe have given to the government. They argue that when companies that have a state interest are auctioned or sold, the government could finance part of the proceeds with a privately managed national fund that meets major social needs, such as loneliness.
