The big banks and insurers in the Netherlands are turning their backs on the bonus culture. The financial institutions are going straight against the political and international trend. "Research shows that social appreciation is more powerful than a bonus, so it is not surprising that the banks opt for a fixed reward instead of a bonus", comments Frank Hartmann of RSM.
