The number of startups that have successfully grown to the status of 'scale-up' has grown rapidly in recent years. But these positive developments ignore the vast majority of all other Dutch companies. Of these, 85 percent did not grow, or hardly grew, in recent years. This conclusion was found in the annual ScaleUp Dashboard 2017 study, led by Justin Jansen of RSM.
