Dutch companies are once again investing heavily in research and development, writes Het Financieele Dagblad on the basis of a study by Erasmus University Rotterdam. Last year, companies spent 2.1% of their turnover on R&D. This percentage has more than doubled. According to Henk Volberda of RSM, companies will only benefit from these new technologies if they also invest in the knowledge and skills of their employees.
