Companies are investing more in technological innovation, but less in social innovation. What is going wrong here and how it be changed? After years of decline, Dutch companies are once again investing a substantial part of their turnover in R&D and ICT according to the annual Erasmus Competition and Innovation Monitor. 'The emergence of new technologies that form the basis of the fourth industrial revolution increase the willingness of companies to invest more in innovation" says Henk Volberda, who led the research.
