Apple and Samsung are arch enemies. But every time an iPhone is ordered, Samsung rubs its hands together. The South Korean company has been supplying parts for the iPhone for years and is likely to earn billions on the iPhone X. This sounds like a unique situation, but according to Henk Volberda of RSM, it is not: "The first iPhone in 2007, for example, used parts of a processor that Samsung originally made for DVD players. I think you can compare it with Dell and IBM, who also had such a relationship."
