For the second year in a row, the Netherlands has been ranked one of the most competitive economies in the world in the Global Competitiveness Index released by the World Economic Forum. Only Switzerland (first place), the United States (second) and Singapore (third) are more competitive. Henk Volberda of RSM is proud of this achievement: "The Netherlands is again the most competitive country of the European Union."
