Personnel scarcity and ageing, among other things, are factors that will drive a large increase in the robotisation of warehouses within the next five years. The Materials Handling day on 27 September discussed issues related to this theme, such as how to integrate warehouse robots into business processes. RSM's Rene de Koster chaired the Material Handling Forum on the subject of robotisation and stated, among other things, that we should "maximise the benefits of robotisation".
