The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam has the world's second best reputation of the eighteen most famous art museums. The museum is in second place, right under the Louvre in Paris, followed by the Rijksmuseum at number three. According to European respondents, the Van Gogh Museum has the best reputation, with the Louvre at second and the Rijksmuseum in third place. RSM's Cees van Riel found evidence for these conclusions in his new study.
