The museum is in second place, right under the Louvre in Paris and followed by the Rijksmuseum at number three. On the ranking of Europeans, the Van Gogh Museum has the best reputation, with the Louvre at second and the Rijksmuseum again in third place. Cees van Riel found evidence for these conclusions in his new study.
