According to a new study conducted by RSM's Cees van Riel, European respondents admire the collection of the Van Gogh Museum, in addition to its role in safeguarding public resources. The high position on the ranking is in part due to the high score on the reputation of the country and of the city of Amsterdam compared to the 9 other countries included in the study. "The position of the relatively young Van Gogh Museum is remarkably high compared to traditional mastodons" says Cees van Riel.
