Within two weeks after you have submitted your application form in OLAF, the RSM Admissions Office will let you know if your application is complete. All messages are visible in the OLAF message center. Bear in mind that we receive a large number of applications towards the application deadline; therefore it may take longer than two weeks before you receive a confirmation e-mail.

Only complete applications will be considered for admission. For this reason we urge that you do not wait until the last minute to submit your application. If you wait until the last minute, you will have no margin for error. If you apply early (at least 4 weeks before the deadline), some mistakes can still be corrected.

A conditional offer of admission means that you still need to do something before you will be allowed to start your studies at RSM. For the vast majority of our applicants, this means that you need to bring or send either certified hard copies or originals of your diploma(s) and final academic transcript. Once all of the conditions in your offer of admission have been met, your offer will become unconditional and you may officially enroll in the programme.

Many of our applicants ask why we require certified hard copies or originals of their diploma(s) and academic transcripts when we already have digital copies. RSM requires official hard copies because digital documents are easier to forge and are therefore not legal documents.

If you want to pay the handling fee via a bank transfer, send your proof of payment to the RSM Admissions Office so that we can manually adjust your payment status in OLAF. The bank account details can be found in OLAF in the handling fee section.

We also accept payment via credit card without using PayPal. The transaction costs for these payments is 2,95% with a minimum of 35 cents. This is cheaper than the PayPal-Credit card option, which is 3,9% + 35 cents.

Please note that the application deadline still applies! As this process will take longer than paying via other methods, we strongly suggest you finalize your application well before the 31 January application deadline.

Yes, you can send us your application first and complete your application package later with the results of your English language exam. Indicate the planned exam date on your application form. Applicants who intend to prove their proficiency in the English language by taking an exam are expected to provide us with their score report via the IBA Online Application Form (OLAF) no later than 1 April. Documents submitted after 1 April will not be accepted.

Avoid disappointment and sign up for a language test on time! Exam centers fill up quickly, particularly during peak testing periods. Keep in mind that it can take several weeks to receive the results of your exam. This means that you should plan to take the exam no later than 1 March.

A sufficient result does not guarantee a spot in the programme. It is simply a tool to make up for any deficiencies in your English level or grades.

On 15 April all applicants who submitted a complete application in the online application form (OLAF) will receive a rank number via e-mail from Studielink. Applicants with rank number 1 to 750 will also receive a second e-mail from Studielink with an offer for the programme, which must be either accepted or declined in Studielink within 14 days. Failure to respond to your offer within 14 days will automatically result in loss of the spot in the programme.

Applicants with rank number 751 and higher will automatically be put on a waiting list. If someone with an offer for the programme decides to decline their offer, it will be automatically assigned to the next person on the waiting list. IMPORTANT: You will remain on the waiting list for the IBA programme as long as you do not withdraw your registration in Studielink. If you withdraw your registration for IBA, your rank number will be passed over by Studielink and you will not be offered a place in the programme even if your number is called. The last number will be issued on the 7th of August.

Applicants who submit a GMAT score which does not meet the minimum requirement of 600 set by RSM will not be considered for admission. You can take the test again, but the new score must be submitted by the application deadline,or before the programme has reached maximum capacity (whichever occurs first). If your score is too low and you do not plan to take a new test, you need not apply.

RSM will only consider the highest score obtained. A previous lower score will not have a negative effect on your application.

The 2020-2021 tuition fee for the MSc programmes is approximately €18,200 per year. The Dutch government contributes towards this cost for students who hold nationality from a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA). These students therefore pay only the statutory fee of €2,143 per year.

Students who are enrolled in the 18-month MSc International Management/CEMS programme will pay tuition for the months they are enrolled.

For EEA nationals who have already completed a master in the Netherlands (and obtained the diploma) the tuition fee for a 2nd master is €12,000.-
