Good to know before you decide to apply

Typically, PhD projects begin in September with the start of the academic year. However, exceptions can be made in certain cases. For instance, if you are selected but will only receive your master’s degree officially in September, you may start your PhD in October or November. Other exceptions may also be possible.

Our PhD positions are fully funded in accordance with Dutch labour laws, so there is no need to fill out scholarship forms. A salary is automatically granted upon admission.
