Master programmes
RSM produced a consistent performance for master programmes across a portfolio of five rankings produced by QS, Quacquarelli Symonds. It measures five main elements:
- Employability
- Alumni outcomes
- Value for money
- Thought leadership
- Class and faculty diversity
The ‘2025 QS rankings’ are published in 2024 and inform students who will begin their academic studies in 2025. The rankings reported here were all published in 2024.
- Ranked 18th in the QS Masters in Marketing ranking for the RSM MSc Marketing Management – comfortably inside the top 20.
- Ranked 3rd in the QS Masters in Supply Chain Management ranking for the RSM MSc Supply Chain Management – in the global top five.
- Ranked 19th in the QS Masters in Business Analytics ranking for the RSM MScBA Business Analytics & Management.
- Ranked 26th in the QS Masters in Finance ranking for the MSc Finance and Investments, and well within the global top 30.
- Ranked 19th in the QS ranking for Masters in Management ranking for RSM’s sister programmes, the full-time MScBA Master in Management and the part-time Dutch language MSc BA Master in Management, within the global top 20.
The Princeton Review for entrepreneurship studies
The Princeton Review ranks the top graduate and undergraduate programmes for entrepreneurship studies, with a focus on programming, mentors, and graduates’ success rates in the business world. The most recent survey considered hundreds of well-known colleges and universities in North America and internationally.
- In the ranking for graduate programmes, RSM’s MSc Strategic Entrepreneurship ranked 9th in the top 50, two places higher than the previous year.
- In the ranking for undergraduate programmes, Erasmus University Rotterdam was at number 20 of the top 50 , 15 places higher than the previous year.
Corporate Knights Better World MBA 2024
Corporate Knights uses a methodology focusing on the proportion of mandatory content relating to environmental, social and governance performance, and gives a bonus metric to the percentage of recent graduates who work in what Corporate Knights define as ‘impact organisations’.
In the Corporate Knights Better World MBA 2024 ranking, RSM has risen two places from last year and came in 29th in the top 40 worldwide – an improvement that reflects significant efforts in improving the social impact aspect of RSM’s MBA programme. RSM is second in the Netherlands and third in the Benelux countries.
Financial Times Research ranking 2024
This new research ranking is separate from the research calculations in the FT’s annual business school rankings. It aims to explore the impact of individual academics’ work over the previous years and, by extension, their business schools. It focuses on three characteristics that add nuance to traditional citations: rigour, resonance and relevance.
RSM has a track record of being a top performer for research according to this FT aggregated research ranking. In 2024 RSM was placed 14th out of 100 international business schools, third in the European Union and top in the Benelux.
