The Black Belt Excellence Programme is an exclusive training with which you can distinguish yourself on the international labour market. The curriculum comprises of 14 days, of which 11 days focus on Lean Six Sigma and three days will focus on change management, leadership and communication: the three core elements needed to be successful as a Black Belt.
There will be two examination moments. One theory and one practical exam. It is obliged to complete the practical exam for this programme. After completing this Black Belt education, you will be awarded a certificate by both a top European business school and Europe’s largest Lean Six Sigma educator. With this certificate you will show the world that you can manage Lean Six Sigma on a university level.
Change isn’t easy; you must feel the urgency and discuss root causes and all stakeholder interests. RSM’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Excellence programme has enabled me to lead change processes and get everyone onboard in crucial steps to meet the customer needs.
The module on Change Leadership was very inspirational, informative and interactive. We’ll all look back on this learning experience with great satisfaction as a group, and also as individuals. This module was the perfect ending to the theoretical part of the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Excellence programme.
There is no magic recipe for success, but it helps to practise various exercises from this programme to lead change successfully. In my organisation it’s a challenge to meet the customers’ demanding expectations on reducing delivery times. We need to motivate the organisation bottom-up to achieve success.
During the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Excellence Programme you will learn from Dr Martijn F. Rademakers. Occasionally we may substitute other faculty members according to the content of the programme and their availability.
Martijn Rademakers is a visiting faculty member at RSM and adjunct professor of corporate strategy at Amsterdam Business School. He is also managing director of consultancy Sollcorp, and founding board member of TONOS, a start-up for planning capacity and logistics for healthcare organisations. He is experienced in education and consultancy for bridging theory and practice of business innovation, organisational change and strategic leadership. He researches the interconnectedness of strategy, organisation and leadership. He is an author of several books; Corporate Universities: Drivers of the Learning Organization is published in five languages, and he is editor of the special edition Journal of Creating Value (Nov 2019).
