First, register as a student in the Dutch national student registration system, Studielink and choose the programme you want to apply for at RSM.
This is not your actual application!
After registering in Studielink, you will complete and submit the RSM Online Application Form (OLAF).
Why Studielink? It connects you to Erasmus University and activates your student account (ERNA). After admission, you can monitor your enrolment and arrange payments via Studielink.
Tips:
Ignore requests for documents from Studielink. Upload them directly in OLAF.
Within 24 hours of registering in Studielink, you’ll receive your ERNA login details and a link to the RSM Online Application Form (OLAF). You can also access OLAF via https://apply.rsm.nl/.
Tips for OLAF:
Changing programmes? If you haven’t submitted your application, update your programme under "Programme Selection" in OLAF. If you’ve already submitted, contact RSM Admissions.
Supporting documents: Upload documents, such as grade lists, after completing your personal information, education, and language details in OLAF.
Translation of documents: If your academic documents are not in English, Dutch, or German, provide an official English translation along with the originals.
Your passport (or ID) must be valid up to and including the 1st of May 2025. If the document expires before this date, you must provide a new valid document by the 31st of August, 2025.
In your CV you should list all relevant experiences. The CV will not be assessed during the evaluation, but can provide additional information for the admission staff. The CV only plays an important role for the admissions staff in the preparation for the additional selection MSc International Management/CEMS.
This document will help determine on which basis you were allowed to start higher education. An official translation is not required.
You don't need to have completed your bachelor’s studies at the time of application, but include your diploma if available. If accepted, RSM Admissions Office must verify your diploma and final grade list by August 31st.
To assess your eligibility, an official transcript of records with all completed subjects and grades is required. We also recommend including a list of courses you plan to take before graduation.
A temporary transcript from your university’s online system is acceptable if it includes your name, the university’s name, and the study programme.
If you have completed additional studies such as a 2nd bachelor degree or a master degree, please include the transcripts (and diplomas) in your application, following the guidelines above.
RSM accepts several kinds of proof of English proficiency. With every form of proof, you must include sufficient documentation to support this.
Add your (un)official score report to OLAF. Also request for a score report to be sent to RSM via the GMAT database. This way your scores can be verified.
Check the detailed instructions regarding the accepted form of language proof for the MSc International Management/CEMS programme.
After submitting your application in OLAF, you will receive status updates in the OLAF message center.
Evaluation times:
Next to meeting the minimum requirements for the MSc International Management, applicants also go through the CEMS selection interview. This additional selection is due to the limited number of places in the programme and the limited number of exchange spots.
After your application is evaluated, you'll be notified of the outcome in OLAF. Possible outcomes include:
Statement of Eligibility: If your academic background meets requirements but your application is incomplete, you’ll receive this statement. The official offer will follow once all documents are submitted.
Offer of Admission: If your application is complete and meets all requirements, you’ll receive a (conditional) offer. Premaster applicants will also learn which master’s programmes they qualify for. You have two weeks to respond and must meet all conditions by August 31st.
Denial + Alternative Offer: If you don't meet the programme’s requirements, the admissions team will check your eligibility for other programmes and offer alternatives.
Denial: If denied, you’ll be informed of the reasons and can review the appeals procedure if needed.
If you are offered admission to RSM, you are expected to respond to your offer of admission in OLAF within 14 days.
You can either accept or decline the offer. It is also possible to defer your offer of admission until the next academic year (with the exception of the International Management/CEMS).
If you need to change the response to your offer later on, this is possible until 31 August by notifying the RSM admissions office.
While your application can be evaluated based on unofficial digital documents you have uploaded in your application form, eventually the RSM Admissions office needs to check the authenticity of your diploma and your final transcript.
This step is vital in order to complete your enrolment for the study. You must be able to show us sufficient proof that you have completed the study your admission is based on by the 31st of August.
The conditions are listed in the conditional offer statement (PDF) as well as your offer message. These conditions must be met by the 31st of August as the academic year officially starts on the 1st of September.
The most common condition is the completion your bachelor programme. This means that all requirements of your bachelor must be met by the 31st of August, and all your grades have been processed (including your final thesis).
To verify your completed studies, RSM requires your final diploma. If it's issued after August 31st, request an official statement from your university confirming you’ve met all requirements.
RSM also needs your final transcript (list of grades) to verify your submitted grades. If documents are not in English, Dutch, or German, provide a certified translation along with the originals.
If you completed your studies at Erasmus University, you don’t need to provide these documents, as RSM will verify through Osiris. Ensure you’ve completed all requirements and requested your diploma on time. RSM will notify you once verified.
A certified copy of your diploma or transcript must be obtained from your institution or a notary. It must include the original stamp and signature of the institution or notary. Send the original certified document to RSM; photocopies are not accepted.
For online verification (EU/EEA only), notify admissions if your university uses such a system. RSM cannot verify documents if software downloads are required.
If sending documents by email, they must come directly from your university to msc.info@rsm.nl. Ensure both your diploma/graduation statement and final grade list are sent. Documents from your email won't be accepted.
