KPIs, weekly, daily or even hourly targets: business seems to be addicted to goal setting. But by just defining these goals they can actually do more harm than good. RSM’s Daan van Knippenberg urges us to embrace the never-ending questions we asked as three-year-old children in order to give meaning to our goals.
