The Dianne Bevelander Grant Scheme aims to empower women by providing financial support to young female students, researchers, and academics as well as those women in the early stages of their working careers. By helping to remove financial barriers, the grants enable recipients to attend events, conferences, or other professional gatherings that help advance their career and/or promote inclusion in society.
Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) is committed to fostering inclusion. Its founding purpose in 2014 was to empower women and to create a level playing field by building communities for organisational change. Today, ECWO has expanded its perspective to embrace a wider vision of a world of inclusive prosperity. Its new mission is to create a sense of belonging for everyone within organisations through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), anchored in social safety. ECWO strives for settings in which everyone feels valued, respected and supported. ECWO conducts research and produces evidence-led educational programmes, events, coaching, advocacy, and advisory services. ECWO has evolved to recognise that achieving true inclusion and equity requires encompassing all, regardless of gender or identity.
Priority will be given to applicants who would be unable to attend professional events without financial support.
Applicants must submit a completed application form. This can be found here.
Applications will be reviewed by ECWO’s Executive Director who will assess the applicant's commitment to the advancement of women and/or inclusion in organisations and/or society, the potential impact of their attendance, and their financial need.
Successful applicants will be notified via email and will receive the grant prior to the event.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but must be submitted at least two months prior to the event.
