Are you a woman in the early stages of your career who wants to attend a conference or event? Do you need financial help with being there? Then we invite you to apply for a Dianne Bevelander Travel Grant.
Launched at ECWO's 10th anniversary conference in November, the grants are part of the Dianne Bevelander Memorial Fund that also includes the annual Dianne Bevelander Prize. The fund was established in 2022 as a way of continuing the pioneering work of ECWO's founder, Professor Dianne Bevelander and aims to support women and promote gender equality.
By helping to remove financial barriers, the grants enable recipients to attend events, conferences, or other professional gatherings that help advance their career and/or promote inclusion in society.
Priority will be given to applicants who would be unable to attend professional events without financial support.
The grant can cover registration fees, travel expenses, accommodation, and other relevant costs associated with attending the chosen event. The specific amount awarded will depend on the applicant's financial needs and the costs associated with the event. The travel grant is not intended to cover the full cost of the event, conference or professional gathering but an aspect of it, up to € 700.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. You can access the application form here.
Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) is committed to fostering inclusion. Our founding purpose in 2014 was to empower women and to create a level playing field by building communities for organisational change. Today, ECWO has expanded its perspective to embrace a wider vision of a world of inclusive prosperity. Our new mission is to create a sense of belonging for everyone within organisations through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), anchored in social safety. We strive for settings where everyone feels valued, respected and supported. We conduct research and produce evidence-led educational programmes, events, coaching, advocacy, and advisory services. We stay true to our roots, and we have evolved to recognise that achieving true inclusion and equity requires encompassing all, regardless of gender or identity.
