Inaugural Address: “Enhancing human rights protection: A company lawyer’s business”

Professor Cees van Dam is appointed endowed professor of International Business and Human Rights, at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). This part-time chair, sponsored by Amnesty International Nederland and the Foundation for Peace Sciences, was established to promote research and education on business and human rights.
Professor van Dam will publicly accept his appointment on Friday, 18 September 2015, with an inaugural lecture entitled “Enhancing Human Rights Protection: a Company Lawyer’s Business”.
A focus of his research is on transforming conflict situations towards a sustainable society. Read more here.
