Profile

Koen Dittrich is Assistant Professor at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. His research interests include sustainable business model innovation, circular economy, closed-loop supply chains and open innovation. He has (co)authored many chapters in various books on sustainability and sustainable business models, R&D collaboration and innovation management, and published articles in Marketing Letters, Research Policy, Small Business Economics, The Journal of Product Innovation Management and Industrial Marketing Management. For his article on Nokia published in The Journal of Product Innovation Management in 2007, Dr. Dittrich received one of the Emerald Citation of Excellence awards 2011. The article has been chosen as one of the top 50 articles worldwide in the field of management that have had the highest impact since their publication date (determined by a two-tier system based on citations and research impact).
